Welcome to Term 3 in Art Year 7! This term your project is based on 3D Creatures :)
Overview:
This project is an introduction to 3D sculpture and basic building skills in art practice. Throughout the unit students are encouraged to be independent thinkers and inquirers by utilizing various research and planning methods. Based on the theme of creatures, pupils are expected to develop and refine their ideas in sketchbooks or individual planning sheets in order to help them visualize their 3D ceramic creatures before beginning the building stage.
Students have the opportunity to experiment with creative approaches, to solve problems, experiment with ideas, materials, tools and techniques, and try out alternatives.
